My entry for the first round of Artist vs Artist contest.
I went for a pretty literal interpretation of the theme, but decided to focus on a nocturnal raccoon going to sleep as the sun rises, which leaves it nonthreatening enough for a tufted titmouse to land on its head.
I decided to try using coloured pencils for this to get a little practice with them, which worked in some places better than others. :x But hopefully it still looks fine!
