Through the process of the piece, I experimented on making a default brush other than the ones given my photoshop. I came up with this grainy/pastel textured brush that still functions well as a a brush for other things except with a few issues on silhouettes. I'll have to fix that.
I gradually getting used to drawing straight from colors but obviously only for characters b/c environments are just a bit too much right now and I'm not good with colors yet.
Here's a magical dwahhhgon or lizard b/c he don't have wings =D

Wow, the way you pain with those textured brushes looks makes the things here more appreciated to watch it, especially some of the shaded areas and the metal effects of his armor makes it looks so realistic, or better saying, more convincent ^ ^
Something like that is what I´m trying to do, drawing without the showing the linearts, the shading and the textures is what creates the shapes and everything. But I still have a long way to reach there XD At least I know that there´s still more to work, so thanks for sharing this too man ^ ^

whaaa nawww, I just wanted to play around with the brushes I have =D
It's actually not a hard transition. Just draw over the lineart b/c my line art is so messy that I don't want to simplify the image by making another layer for cleaner line art because it covers the gestural style that I usually incorporate in my pieces, oh and partly because I'm too lazy to draw over the same thing again. "do it once and move on" - MUFFIN TOPS
Don't worry about the process, just have fun drawing what you want and you'll come up with something to be proud of instead of being just satisfied.

Ahh well, but I always wanted to make some perfections with the organic images, because it let you to color it freely without the lineart that limit by force the pic, with the shadings that I do with lineart, I feel like it merely looks good, but I wish to reforce more the organic pics (lineless) Something like you do ^ ^ Is really inspiring :D
And true, having fun in drawing what you do is something that we can´t loose, indeed. But testing some other techniques doesn´t hurt, at all heheh XD So as far as I can do is testing more and more with the coliring and see if I can find the proper way to color them good heheh, thanks for the tip ^ ^
