i have a question??? the first panel? is that of them just chatting about anything? i can't tell how you went from derek asking for scott to just use his name instead of calling him "sir". to talking about a TV show or something?? if they are just chatting MB through a small box in a corner of something like "a few minutes later" or "we chatted for a bit" it might lessen confusion.... but thats just me. i do reall like this story though and would love to see more can't wait!
Just to add my two cents... I actually like it without the comment or explanation. I saw the faces of two people who are clearly engaged in their conversation, so it made sense to me. (Aren't those the faces of two guys making a connection? I love that.)
I get your point, and it's a good one. I don't think the flow of the story would be damaged in any way by a comment, if
kimmykun wanted to put one in. Maybe even something like, "Did you ever notice how fast time goes when you're enjoying a good conversation?" Or even more direct, "We talked for quite a while..."

i guess that makes sense but i've read manga mostly and every time i see the three little lines around a persons eyes like that i think more along the lines of "hey i just noticed/ sensed something..." mb is the lines were lower it might have qued me better but i guess i missed that but oh well it's still a great story.. i do like the first one you said of ""Did you ever notice how fast time goes when you're enjoying a good conversation?"" but anyway, i would still love to see more :)
