It is wonderful to see artists take their own style in fan-art, instead of copying the “official style”.

I just came from a FurCon...and the popular thing now is the new “My Little Pony” series. Most artists, even drawing the adult stuff, seem to try to copy the official style...but I thought the prettiest MLP art was done by people being unique in their own style.

Hmm...
I think if the artist draw many pictures so so, they get at least some points they can do well.
In your case, I think you can draw various composition of the drawings.
And you can use many colors well.^^

I think I did good fortunately. I wish that I can do always when I'd like to do.
This shading is still difficult for me. Sometimes succeeds but sometimes fails.
