Weird, this happened to me too. He wouldn't let up, nor would he leave me alone at any point, yet he made fun of me for ages. We were actually together for a fair few months when I finally agreed. I think he fell for me during the time, when we split up we became really good friends after too. Not the same ending, but still.. Sometimes this situation doesn't end badly.
There definitely seem to be foster parents out there that are a /lot/ worse than the ones that'll pick you up from school, ask how your day was, and tell you they can call you 'mum'.
...Maybe she didn't need to refer to them all as foster kids, but, that could just be ignorance on her part in a way.
