Sketch I did of my character Klaus Webber. I decided to post such an unfinished work because, well it looks cool and there are too many wolves and foxes in my gallery so I felt something new was in order.
Also I wanted to take this oppertunity to explain how this character was made.
Concept wise he evolved because I thought that it'd be cool to have an vampire in Hister's army, I mean an army of Nazi werewolf mercenaries is cool and all but every once in a while something new is needed. He's the last of his kind and among Hister's officers he's one of the best. He holds two ranks: 11th during the day time, and 2nd at night.
Design wise he's a character I built from start to finish. In this form he's a bat anthro obviously. He's not a pure vampire bat, he's half Flying Fox. Why? So he could have massive wings that would actually enable him to fly in real life with his gear on (not pictured) and so the sun wouldn't instantly incenerate him, and the Flying Fox is my favorite bat.
Personality wise he's a mix of Alucard from Hellsing and Kimimaro from Naruto. He's strong, fast, intelligent, and nearly immortal and he knows it.
The weapons he uses are: Glock 17 9mm (pictured), Colt 1911a1 .45 acp with a custom slide that ejects to the left (picured), another standard Colt 1911a1 (not pictured), a PM Makerov 9x18mm (not pictured), a L-85 5.56mm AR (not pictured), and a FN-Fal 7.62x54mm Battle Rifle (not pictured). And he's skilled in hand to hand combat.
That's about it, I still need to do tones and add a background to this picture, this one will be in scrapes after I do that.

Hmm... if you want my honest opinion, it's not bad at all, considering how difficult bats are to draw, however I'd like to give you a few pointers if you are interested (If not, stop reading right about here)
I can't say much about the main body features, since that can vary I guess, every artist draws bats differently, even if slightly. I did notice though, the canine influences in his head (not surprising though, you draw a lot of canines). Bats don't exactly have a muzzle, and his ears need a bit of fine tuning, they appear ( to me) as a bit of a cross between canine ears and bat ears. There's certain small traits which contribute to the difference. Now, on to the major thing, his wings. Of course you can't exactly do exact anatomy for wings for the purpose of your character, however the back wings, the muscle part needs to be thicker, especially as it gets closer to his body. They gotta be strong to hold his body aloft yanno :P Also, currently they appear to just be "sticking" into his body, rather than naturally growing from it. It needs to be a bit of a smoother transition into his body, perhaps broadening the thin membrane of the wing close to the body, so that they don't appear stick-like. Hope that helps! And again, like I said it's not bad at all :P

Thanks, guns are hard to draw, they take alot of pracatice. And thank you for the tips too. The reason he has a canine features is because he's part flying fox which are very canine looking bats (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Megabat). This is actually the first drawing I've done of Klaus in his bat from (and the first bat I've ver drawn in anthro style).
The final drawing will have your segestions on the wings, I thought they looked a little funky too. The ears, I don't know, the angle is what's screwing with me on this one.

True enough, just like I said the face needs a bit of tweaking and you've got it. You can improve the ears just by adding little details which easily define bat ears, such as the groove-looking lines that bats have inside their ears (pic here: http://static.howstuffworks.com/gif/bat-8.jpg )
