Camping is hit 'n miss! But in good company it's fantastic. I only went camping once; in the western highlands of Scotland. Very adventurous times, to be sure!

I do believe a modicum of survivalist's desire is required. So, if they're the types to hole up in a room with computers 'n pizza the suggestion might not get many enthusiastic cheers. :D

They are using the tent as one of those sauna/dream things. :D
