old art of an old character i haven't drawn before! IT IS UPLOAD DAY. i have commissions impending as well, so to those of you waiting on your sketches, they will be here soon C:
although dogskull seems to have been raised by wild animals evidence exists to suggest dogskull spent very early childhood among humans. since dogskull does not communicate vocally with anyone at all, the Government Of The Future has assigned dogskull agender pronouns (zie/zir) for the purpose of paperwork. they probably assigned zir a name, too, but 'dogskull' is what everyone else has been using, and of course zie hasn't said anything to correct them. no one knows how the nickname happened.
zir face has been badly torn open from either a calig attack (huge cyborg monster) or an animal, and while dogskull sometimes exhibits discomfort zie does not want corrective surgery to cover the damage.
dogskull gains notoriety in the underworld for doing unsavoury jobs for whoever treats dogskull the nicest that day; money isn't a concept zie grasps too well. dogskull has also been incarcerated about twenty times for all kinds of reasons, ranging from public misbehaviour to actual criminal offences, but someone clearly likes zir enough to keep bailing zir out. multiple rehabilitation attempts have only gotten as far as teaching dogskull to groom zirself once in a while. the clone squad is very familiar with dogskull, in an i-won't-get-you-arrested-if-you-stay-out-of-my-way sense.
most disturbing of all, dogskull seems fluent in the calig 'language', which raises a lot of questions.
