She looks content -- a very dignified and very very old lady (my Lindsey Peabody is almost in the same shape.)

And I feel awful for not being able to do better by her. Life is a little easier, if you want to call it that, no more inquiring noseie when I am making my sandwich for lunch, no greeter to greet me when I am tired and come home cranky. My room is lessened for there is no cat there. I will not get another cat till I am living somewhere else. This landlord guy is Felix Unger in all but name.

Without a cat in your life, living is just sucking wind.
