Ravage Squeaker-Seeker, born March 28, 2008.
She was rescued along with her three litter mates. They had been thrown into a rose bush outside of a grocery store in Boise, ID. Of the four, she was the only one that survived. She had corneal scratches from the thorns and hemorrhoids from eating the leaves just to stay alive. She had pneumonia and was pretty fairly blind.
She lived four and half years surrounded by love and happiness. She lived in Boise, ID, Grand Junction, CO, Aurora, CO, and Meridian, ID
When I was pregnant with my daughter she would lay on my stomach and they would pet each other. It was an odd sensation, but it was so beautiful at the same time.
She loved to snuggle under the blankets with her head pillowed on my arm, her body tucked against my chest and tummy. It was her favorite place.
She developed kidney failure at some point this year, and because I was busy with moving, and being pregnant, and having family visit, and adjusting to life with a newborn...I failed her.
She was laid to rest on 11/13/12 in Emmett, ID.
Seriah, Jayne and I were there.
Her ashes have been spread at a Christmas Tree Farm in McCall, ID. She will bring joy and happiness into the homes of countless people in the years to come.
Good bye my faithful friend. I miss cuddling you at night.
