Anyways ;) This at start was gonna be just Reptile and Lizeron, but then I felt it was empty. So I decided to camp up the background that you see :) Orinally it had 4 more people lurking around, but I didn't like the results.
I am really proud of this O-o and somehow, I am totally in love with Reptile (no joke, who isn't!) but I managed to give him a toon look without making him less of the stud that he is. At least that's what I feel like I did xD!

This may be one of the COOLEST, SWEETEST, CUTEST and most original gift/fan artworks I EVER got!!!!!!!
Well, let me put it this way: the success and originality of an artwork can be measured by the size of my smile and the time of me watching your artwork.
In THIS CASE, my smile reminds me of "The Joker" (from one ear to the other) and I CANNOT stop looking at it (dammit, I need to get home right now, but I can't stop watching and smiling)! ^__________________^

Okay, about the artwork now.
COMPOSITION
The basic composition reminds me of a very nice comic panel or even a huge "money shot" (a full sized page). We have the main characters - Reptile and Lizeron - in the focus of the artwork. But some "guest appearances" and nice details can be found in the background, as well. The setting is very nice: we have these little homes, with snow and warm lanterns... and it gives me a "winter wonderland full of sugar and candy" feeling - which I love!!!! XD
And you've worked with some "blurr effects" to seperate background and foreground - very good!
CHARACTERS
Of course, REPTILE and LIZERON are the main characters and I love the connection/relation between them. Reptile... with this bday card and his "I don't really get it" expression on his face... marvellous! He even looks handsome, despite of this "comical" approach and his rather slim body (except for the crotch, hehehe *cough cough*). But his body proportions are overall great and I like how you've displayed him here. And look at this cure christmas cap... and nice jacket and... baggy pants!??! Anyway, it all suits him and though he's a medieval fantasy character, this version is truely innovative and cute.
And next to him, Lizzy... much smaller, yes. A cute, nice friend... incapable of hiding this axe! XD
His "bedroom eyes"... so cute and innocent (*grins*). But his friendship and appreciation for Reptile is really well displayed here... and I can almost feel the warm and fuzzy feeling of friendship here.
DETAILS
What would life be without details.
I LOVE (!!!!) the idea of the axe and... the pinkypie keychain! This detail steals all the seriousness from the axe away... which is a truely funny and intelligent approach and just a sweet idea. XD
And... is that "The cat with the hat" between them?? We Germans don't really know that story, but I know it from my English lessons and experience. If I'm correct, this must be the cat!! And that is just a nice detail here.
One of the BEST (and tiniest) details ever: the little golden bell hanging around Reptile's tail tip! XD
I almost fell from the chair here!!

My, my... you've definitely earned yourself a "slot" in my ART TRADE section, for sure! I mean... I would also be deligthed to draw you a bday gift in tim, but I don't know if I could make it. So, a TRADE would be my proposal to you, if you like! ^^ It might be very nice to draw your character in some action or to draw a (maybe even sexy) poser of him. And you can do the same with Reptile. But we shall see, alright? Anyway, you really have earned yourself a "slot".

I am so glad you like it :)! As said, at start it was gonna be really simple so that I could give it to ya without delay. But then I saw the chance to turn it into something greater and since you are lucky enough to be born around X-mas, I thought I should go with it xD! And imagine that the whole idea was in my mind because I saw the gift card Reppy's holding in a bookstore xD! As for the size difference, I had to take it in mind to make it believable O-o! Reppy is 1.90 while Lizzy is 1.70!
The character behind us are the little wolf pup from the 3 piglets of disney. When I was around 4, I was reading comic pages of his adventures to stop his father from eating his best friends the 3 piglets :) I am not sure what he's doing in my picture, I am not even sure why he is there and I had no reference so I drew him from what I remember xD!
@_@ wow! An art trade.... GAAAH XD! Maybe, we will see! I actually need to finish drawing nearly 8 pics I have promised to people :) I am really slow with pics if I ain't determined xD Last time I offered 7 pictures, I finished em 6 months later :P Hurr durr. So if we ever make an art trade, I'd prefer to draw the picture first so that you don't end up waiting for me :) I know you draw your pictures quite fast ^^
