Mogran are currently a Closed Species, but will be available as FREE (sorta)adoptables via batches uploaded here only.
I say Sorta free because the process to claim one is created specifically for a community like this, full of people who draw, write or make music,

To Adopt/Have one of your own:
You will need to wait for the Adoptable eggs to be posted :3 Customs are available for those who would like to pay $5.00cdn for them via paypal. Note me for more information

As with ageing you will need to make a submission or art, poem, writing, music or SOMETHING to show you are EXCITED to get your egg. This is the holding process. Once you have submitted the file, the egg will be marked as Claimed until your hatched Mogran is uploaded.
Please note you are not designing your Mogran, I am. Just like with other Egg adoptables. If you draw your mogran hatched for the claim image, that does not mean your Chipasi/Mogran will LOOK like what you've drawn. I love to see what you're imaginations think it may look like, and it does show excitement. the mind coming up with color and marking combinations, and that is why I do not mind you doing those sort of submissions. But please remember that it may not be how your Mogran will actually look like :3

How to Age your Mogran:
Egg - Chipasi - Mogran

This is easy. You're Mogran starts as an Egg, which can be Adopted via one of the batches, laid via breedings or by ordering a custom through me.

Once you Draw a picture, write a story, write a poem or make music about your future Mograns hatching, and link it to me in a note or comment, your egg will hatch into a Chipasi.

Chipasi is the 'young' Stage of your Mograns Aging. To grow to an adult you must repeat the step above., drawing, writing or composing something about its growth, its life or just about It. Once you have done your submission, link me and You will get your grown Mogran!

There is currently no Elderly stage as this species is still new. :3

The reason Aging is this way is to show you are not just getting an adoptable for the sake of having one. I see so many adoptables that get claimed and than never enjoyed outside of ones head, so I have made this aging process so the adoptables can see some lovin!

How to Breed your Mogran:

Once your Mogran is an Adult you are eligible to enter it into the Breeding Program. This is simple...Ish

-First, Find a Mogran of the opposite gender that you wish to breed with. This can either be one from your own Grouse (herd) of Mogran, or one owned by another. If the one you wish to breed with is owned by another, ask if you may breed your Mogran to their, and if no than you can not. If yes than proceed to the next step.

-Draw what we call a "Breeding Pic" Or write a poem or story, or make some music. This doesn't have to be r rated AT ALL. It could simply be the two mogran having a picnic or taking a walk, it doesn't matter. It must be a submission of the Two Mogran that will be bred.
This step is done by the one REQUESTING the breeding. The person asked to be bred with does not have to lift a finger except for the next step.

-When you received your Chipasi Mogran you where given a Genetics Code. Gather yours, and the Genetics Code to the other parent. Note the two codes and a link to the Breed Submission to me.

I will roll my die, do my magic, and you will shortly find yourself with an Egg.
To hatch your egg, follow the aging process and you will soon find your Grouse growing with a newly hatched chipasi mogran.



Multiple Eggs:
Having more than one egg born at a time requires an extra step. For each person to receive an egg, each person must submit a Breeding Submission. This is what will enable more than one egg to be laid. the exact number will be determined by how many people make the breed pic..
Say you wish to breed to mogran B with your mogran A. but your Friend wants an offspring from it too. Than not only must You make a breed pic, but your friend must as well. :3 Basically to ensure that all parties get a chipasi, that want one, must make a breed pic for the paired Mogran.

Custom Mogran:
If you decide to purchase an egg this is how it works. You pay, giving me colors you would prefer, specific markings, or really any details and specifics you would like. At the moment only ONE rarity per mogran though. This means you can have either a rare color, marking OR appendage. Not a combination of two or more.
Once that is done and I receive payment, I will begin your Mogran. You will get a link to it when it is complete. This will be for your approval. If you like the design, or wish changes. this is the time for it. If you want something changed, it will be done and a new image sent to you in Note.
Once the design is to your liking, all three stages (egg, Chipasi and Adult) will be uploaded to FA and VWALA you have a new Mogran.
That sounds more complicated than it is. In short, you pay, you approve, you get all three ages in one image and your Mogran is automatically an adult. :3

This is not a detailed How to of how I work the genetics of this species, more of a basis so you can see which colors or markings will over power and which will fall back when breeding. You may or may not find this helpful when choosing breeding partners for your Mogran.

Rarities:
all rare colors, markings and appendages are available only through Custom Orders, with a combination of two or more only 1 in 100 birthings. Birthings is key here. A gen 1 Mogran (custom or adopt) may only have One rarity at a time. this means Either a rare color, Rare appendage or Rare marking, not a combination.

Themes:
Mogran that are 'Themed' Either after a show, movie, person or such are ALL born Mules. This means they can not be entered into the Breeding Program.
Those themed after seasons, or holidays however will be able to enter into breeding. These Theme are submissive traits and will likely be overpowered by other markings and color combinations, but will always remain in the genetic lineage meaning maybe not then ext generation, but perhaps three generations down they will pop back up to be seen.
