Well yeah, it was awesome, and I'm incredibly thankful and blessed I recognize -- but when I've reflected on it, it used to be a standard and pivotal thing in a lot of religions, cultures and practices, to go out and make some spiritual pilgrimage or trek into the vastness of the awe-fucking world shortly before or after becoming an adult, yeah?
