It's song lyrics, but the character, Salsai, he's sort of insane, and he's suffered a lot of bad shit in his life.
Even though he isn't my character I find myself relating to him a lot, as far as experiences go, the pain he feels, how he laughs it off and is this charming nice guy on the outside, but on the inside he hates himself to his core and.. well. sometimes wishes he was dead.
