I have been wanting to pay homage for some time to King Elliott, the mascot of Elliott's gathering that happens in Orlando Florida.
Ice and myself were lucky enough to be invited earlier this year to attend Elliott's Spring Gathering. It was a blast and we will be attending the gathering again on the 3rd of May, 2013 for sure :D
(PS: still need to complete the commissions I took at this gathering. I have not forgotten about you guys)

hehe, Im just sayin you could put a subtle tuft there so it doesn't quite look so unnatural. I love the pic, especially the paws (as usual), though since the composition itself draws attention to that area, having it lack the furry details that you have in the paws, tail, mane, face and robe trim just draws even more attention to it. Whether you make a version with full arousal or not, I think that area could use more detail. :3

it was really wonderful meeting and hanging out with you and Ice at Elliott's. Who would've thought that such a coincidence that we both were going to Elliott's. Thanks to you and many others furfriends, the entire weekend turned into one of the best times I've had this year. It was my first time going to(somewhat) con and won't be the last. ESG2012 was the best.
I love when stereotypes are proven true, thus, Ill say my piece and leave it at that. The piece is overall well composed. The shading, lighting, anatomy, color blending, and anatomy blend together very well to create a nice overall tone. If I had one complaint, or perhaps, criticism would be a better word, then perhaps the shading and anatomy around the right knee might be a little off and the robe/cape is perhaps a little too monotone, assuming it's supposed to be satin or silk, I'd think it would be slightly more reflective. Other than that, it's a very well done piece, and it's obvious a lot of time and energy went into it. I think it's quite well done, but as with anything, room for improvement.
That being said....ahem. I find it very sad that most comments are concerned only with the absence of his balls and sheath. A case of getting too hung on on whats not there, to appreciate what is. No there's no cock, so what? It's still an awesome pic.

I think the pic is better that there isn't a cock and balls. With it just being another smut pic, it would be only that. Nothing left for the mind to wonder or take in, just a picture.
That being said, not having him have visible genitalia, while being so spread, while not having the red or even blue boarder, actually stopped me. Almost like my mind couldn't comprehend such a position without having specific boarders to go along side it. I actually think in that sense, this was a much, much better imagine than any i've seen the past month, probably including all of November so month and a half.
It just vies the eyes AND mind something to soak in. Not just to increase blood flow to certain organs.

I do up a couple of cons a year. i used to do Anthrocon but it got kind of expensive to make that trip and Comic Con which is a month later. Now i mostly just do the West Coast cons. But i hear this Elliots Spring Thing is a pretty fun experience so i might check it out next year :3

Hmmm... if that pose is implying we should get to work tending those nice footpaws of his... "As you wish your majesty!" :D He looks fantastic - very regal, yet very laid back and playful. That footpaw is just... murr - so inviting. If there's but one suggestion I'd make, it'd be to change the colour or brightness just a bit on the throne - it's very close to the king's colour, so rather than stand out from it, he kinda blends in with it.
