I'm SO creative with names, aren't I?
Anyways, this piece is a song I started two weeks before I left Job Corps XD I was really getting into playing Diablo II which I am currently trying to beat for the first time ever, lol.
The desert is a fun place and I decided to make music showing how much I love it. Endless seas of sand beneath your feet, the sun whipping down on your back like a slave driver, If you want you could kick up a huge cloud of sand and conceal yourself ^.=.^ or use a car to help you http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=trtFwJW0xIQ
Enjoy!

Heheh, certainly different from your usual work, huh? But still good! You got the image from the title right on, exactly what I thought while listening to it, before actually looking at the title. >.> <.<
Heheh this image is not much, pretty much all that I can imagine is Jaiko riding camel back across the desert with the sun bright and high in the sky. He's dressed in those robes and hoods and whatever other gear is wore out in the arabi desert, that's what I picture anyway. *shrugs*
Not much I know, but doesn't say that it (the song) is no good, because it is good! I agree your old work is good, but your new has definitely seen a great improvement! Whoo! ^_^

<3<3<3 I saved the song to my computer btw.. along with my growing collection of Furaffinity music <3
I write music.. but have no way of recording it other then a shit tape recorder that distorts the sound.. and has no way of putting it on the computer..0.o...
I REALLY wish I could put up my song "Moonlit Ride" and "Spring Rain"
Maybe somebody I know has a studio and'll let me use it lol!

I really did enjoy the mid-eastern influence here. I've been looking for a desert theme to learn from, and this fits the bill perfectly. All though, I'd say it's almost Indian rather than Arab or Persian. Sounds like two snake charmers having a contest, actually. But really cool.
The part starting at 0:48 had some really nice chords to go with the melodies. the beats that come after that sound really awesome as well. Very cool flute near the end. overall the song gives me the image of a desert metropolis with canals and palm trees at night... like Cairo, Egypt. excellent job.
