If he has dark hair in the first place he should have tried to bleach it then dye it.

I dont know how to bleach hair so we didn't do it...

Looks like you wound up with cookies instead. Which isn't necessarily bad, mind you.

Helpful hint for next time:

1) Bleach hair with peroxide.

2) Apply dye to suit. It'll show up much better against a light background.

I dyed my hair black once (sorta like in the avatar; my real hair color is blond). I still have the pics my dad took of me, and lets just say it was a good thing it was only the very temporary spray-on stuff and that mom was out of town that weekend (this was like two years ago, by the way).
