It is a sad day. We had our first death in the Pokemon Tabletop RPG.

In the current game I’m in, Gabe got an extremespeed dratini from the Dragon’s Den. The dratini decided she GOTTA GO FAST every few minutes, and frequently ran into walls, rocks, and pokemon. She was also afraid of water, had 1 Int, and spoke in capslock. We called her Derptini.

Our PokeRPG games tend to include a lot of…unusual house rules. Gabe decided that every time Derptini WENT FAST, he’d make a “morals check” (d20 roll) to see if his pokemon ranger character decided Derptini was defective enough to warrant mercy killing. Derptini lasted a surprisingly long time (by which I mean about 2 days), but eventually Gabe rolled a 1, and that meant dragon stew time.

You will be missed, Derptini.
