Passing by on the highway, drove through a bunch of salt flats and lakes. I pulled over and traipsed through the MILLIONS OF SPIDERWEBS and undergrowth, with a few snakes and rabbits departing at high velocity. Out on the 'lake/shore', it was a thin crust of salt with horrendous smelling goo beneath. There used to be a lot of trees; but all dead after the salinity levels rose. I liked the contrast of the intricacies of the grass and the sharp contrast of colour.
