Just stay vigilant when using it. Believe it or not skilled human spies can actually jump over the flame pulse, and stab without being set on fire (though they will still likely waiver and worry about being close to you). yeah it's definitely a cool design though, and the flames look cool (the ammo cost is HUGE though :P)

XD yeah but in MvM it shines, because you can upgrade its maximum ammo among other stats too. But even in MvM I do fairly well when a engineer has a dispenser nearby but also have defensible position. Engineers can upgrade a dispenser's range too ;3
