I have a stupid cat. Haha as long as you keep them away its ok. Out of experience girl rats seem to gang up and attack the cat were boys run and hide. We normally find it so funny when they try and pin him and clean him! Seriously cats and rats together are no problem. They can be really amazing friends if you bring them up together. (:
