berymuch drew this delicious werewolf a while ago, and asked people to color it. This is my final product. (There is a WIP in scraps.)The original lineart is here: http://www.furaffinity.net/view/9022699/

I never like gore and ick. I've actually been known to edit it out of a picture I otherwise like (not to post - just for keeping on my hard drive).
Soooo, my advice it pretty obvious.
If I were to do more with it myself, I'd mess around with shading and highlights in separate layers. I have no skill for such things and would probably never end up posting my attempts, but that's what I'd do.
He looks great as is though.

Wow, you really went all out for this- it kicks ass!
I'm not sure if it's just the screen I'm using at the moment, but is that a slight texture I see in the fur? I've been wanting to try to incorporate more effects like that in my own artwork, but it's been taking me a while to use it in a way that i find comfortable.
I also like the background you paired the picture up with. It sort of evokes that sense of light vs. dark, man vs. werewolf, humanity vs. bestiality (NOT THE OTHER ONE), etc. Pretty neat!
As I mentioned, sorry for not getting back to you sooner. I'm really honored that you thought my work was good enough to justify spending your time making your own art out of it. Thank you so much!!!

Yes, there is some slight texturing in the fur. I used a sparse paint brush on a low setting, then added motion blur. It took several layers, because I had to do another one for each direction the fur lays, but the overall process was fairly easy.
I was hoping for a bit creepier background; I am not satisfied with this one. What I really wanted was a good shot of either the Dracula or Frankenstein, but Google did not return the kind of result I wanted, so I went with just a moon shot.
Thank you for letting me play with your art. It was quite fun to do, and I am honored that you think so highly of my coloring. :)
