I had the good fortune to meet  stevegallacci at MiDFur 2012 (The Furry Apocalyspe Cometh). I went through the dealer's den in Rattus and Rattus asked him for a sketch of him holding military hardware, maybe dressed in a flak jacket. I was chuffed to get it, because Mr Gallacci was my introduction to the furry fandom through the SF adventure comic Fusion that I found when trawling through the back issue bins of a comic book store way back in 1995. From there I found Albedo but it wasn't until I discovered Furrlough (a military adventure anthology) that I twigged to the fact there was a whole community behind these serious funny animal comics. He took the time to sketch some reference pics of Rattus, so this is the artist's interpretation of Rattus if his life had taken a less cute and fuzzy turn.
