So it's  donovan's birthday this week.

I, being a cat of many plots, secretly stayed home from work to surprise him. I spent the day cleaning and decorating the apartment like a fancy restaurant. This was the sign that was outside our door when he got home. I also drew a few "employees" for the restaurant to help guide him to the changing room to get on his suit (black tie only at the Chateau!).

After he got changed, a few well-placed hoof prints on the flood led him to the kitchen, where I had set up our table with a white table cloth, napkins, red candles, wine, the works. The appetizer was apple-brie bruschetta, followed by a main course of honey-pecan pork served with french beans almandine, and dessert was a parfait.

Please keep in mind, I don't speak French. I think the sign translates to "Elk's Chateau," but only if the Internet translator I was using worked properly. XD

Donovan said he really enjoyed the whole experience. Happy Birthday, Elklove! =^w^=
