Madison County, KY is peppered with the remains of the Richmond, Irvine, Nicholasville, and Beattyville Railroad which once ran clear across the county east to west. Much of the old ROW is still intact with several long sections used to bed some roads on the east side of the county. Other stuff left over includes alot of bridge pilings, tunnels, 2 stations, and a section of track in Richmond, KY still in place and used by CSX as an industrial siding.
Seen here is where the railroad crossed over Tates Creek on the west side of the county. The railroad was built in 1888 and operated until 1907 when it was purchased by the L&N and operated by them as a subsidary called the Louisville and Atlantic. The line was pulled up in 1934 when the L&N decided that an alternate route could handle the lines traffic.

Hard to get a picture of it as it sits on a residential property, plus it doesn't look like a station since someone tried to turn it into a house. I do have a pic of the tunnel abandoned at a town called Million: http://www.furaffinity.net/view/4558347/
