I spent a couple hours today making the markings more accurate, until Dibby and I were both happy with them. Ambrosia is one complex kitty! After that I did some work detailing the eyes, which still need a little more work to get to the level of realism I desire. They're rather tricky little things, though.

I also spent a few hours adding more detailed fur lighting and shading, so that the individual strands are far more apparent, giving the final renders a much more realistic look than before. A little bit more tweaking is necessary, but I'm rather happy with the result right now. All new portraits will use the updated detailed fur.

I have some final clean-up to do on the image, blending in the markings and adjusting some coloration, then upping the detail on the eyes.
