The Ultrapulse subtitle would be in direct reference to a special ability for the Arwings that can be used once in a while during aerial combat, something never seen before.
It can also be in trivial reference to the Wii "U" letter since it starts with U, and the word "Ultra" comes from an indirect inspiration towards the original N64 name, Ultra 64.

I concur. We need a boldly innovative and highly new and improved Star Fox installment, and legitimately so. I wonder how the Wii U's years will turn out to be....
Hopefully Nintendo's new IPs will be lovable too. They have yet to cover all game genres for the IPs; I'm also hoping for a vertical shmup IP to be made directly from Nintendo. ;)

They should make one for Wii and Wii U. With some high-quality cinematics to advance the story (with at least decent in game graphics), and an epic storyline. The campaign should dig deep into Fox's background and reference the past installments (i.e. vehicles from Command and 64, flying controls similar to those of Assault, and even a prequel mission on Venom where you play as Peppy during the failed recon mission alongside James and Pigma. Afterwards, Pigma opens fire on you, and then you get to fight him)
