Born into an age where mages have taken over the world and uses dragons to stay on top, Ona is brought up in the forets, in a hidden village. Her 'father' is a head druid. She is called a 'pure' dragon. That means she is not changed at all, like no horns, spines etc. In this world the dragons that get spines and horns get them by magic altering and/or being close to magic over a long period of time. Nature magic that druids use doesn't affect the growth of horns.
It takes place in a post modern world where magic and modern techology go hand in hand but the only magic creatures known so far are dragons, and in the south gryphons.
