This is a christmas gift for  DracheMetzger. The only reason I'm safe posting it a week early is because with over 2000 messages in her inbox right now? She won't see it until I either physically show it to her, or tie her to a chair and make her clean up her messages.

Also, we discussed it and she said it was alright, she had no plans to go looking for it, as long as it wasn't on tumblr till after she saw it :XD:

Possibly the most extensive watercolor I've ever done, and for a while, I was terrified that I'd ruined it...but overall, I think it turned out pretty okay...

And no, he's not coughing up blood, it was supposed to be molten gold (very much inspired by the 1977 animated rendition) but...apparently I fail at hot soggy metal ^^;
