I was drawing a merman a few weeks ago, but it kind of frightened me so I stopped. Maybe I'll draw a merman sometime that isn't an abomination. XD

I think it's amazing how, even though this species has been extinct for a hundred years, preserved specimens have such beautiful color. I could only imagine how gorgeous they must have been in person! It makes me rather sad, actually.
