Here's my first project for my traditional illustration class, a media sampler focusing on a combination of two different objects. I did bats and top hats!
We have in order: pen and ink, pencil, goache(silhouette), scratchboard(replacing on object for another), acrylic wash/ink, acrylic wash/colored pencil, paper cut out/paint, acrylic wash, ink/acrylic(another artist's style), and cut out/acrylic.
...can you tell I like ink/acrylic washes? XD
You can see the individual pictures here on my blog http://caitlinmulvihill.blogspot.com/

I love these.
The indisputable leader of the gang.
He's the boss, he's a pip, he's the championship.
He's the most tip top,
Top Bat.
Then again, a fancy, handsome animal can not go wrong design-wise!
