One thing though - the version you sent me has a white background. The one you have posted here has a coloured background. I am a little confused about this...

Here is a thought, which would be applicable to Kija as well. If he is half lemur, does that mean his eyes would have been blue when he was younger?

Maybe so! Kija was an artificial hybrid in CoU, started as just a fox with blue eyes, and I haven't given much thought to a natural hybrid!

It is an interesting thought. Because ringtail lemurs start out with blue eyes, and only get the orange eyes at maturity.
