only read below if you are curious about drawing fur and/or want to laugh at my limited knowledge on the subject.

(top left) placed a background, i wanted some kind of textured background but ended up looking like a cheetah or something (which i'm totally cool with). don't like it. it's too flat and looks too separated from the background. also the fur pattern is weird, i have no idea why i did that.

(top right) i just wanted to do a random things i thought might work and it ended up pretty cool looking. i accidentally made it short fur cuz i started to rush. but, accidents are how discoveries are made. i added the stripe to see if i could and i really like how it came out.

(bottom left) i wanted to see if i could do wet looking fur. a lot of artists use a similar pattern to wet fur so i thought it might be easier. don't like it. i used too much shading and not enough fur pattern and highlights. o well

(bottom right) everything i learned about fur, not beautifully executed. the highlight is a little wonky and stands out too much. this one would look much better if i had a full picture to draw it on
