It is... it is indeed. And sometimes a double-edged sword... keeping us going after the point we might give up, and yet again to be disappointed. I can never help thinking of the story of Pandora's Box: when opened, it let out all the evils of the world, and then the last thing to emerge was Hope, creeping out almost unnoticed. "All the evils of the world... and Hope." Sometimes Hope can be the cruellest trial of all.
