Shhh! We don't speak of the '96-'09 period... (or anything Post SWC for that matter). Besides, the Case'll be put to rest with a showdown against Texas next year at the very end of the season. As it stands, ignoring this year's 56-50 loss to the horns, we've won every matchup against Texas since 2010! So there! Also, having the nation's leading offense helps.
I got lucky. I came on campus in the fall of 2010. During my Linecamp/ Welcome Week hayride tour thing, we all voiced quite loudly how none of us came here for sports (particularly football). Then, along with the sick "Rise Up" intro video for the 2010 season, we ended up making it to a Bowl game for the first time in 16 years.
Then, of course for my sophomore year, things got kicked into high gear, and the rest is history. Also, getting to meet the players in the Brooks dining hall was pretty freaking sweet.
