So here is the step-by-step file of my latest painted sketch, the Audi R8, as you can see, I am working in a kind of grey-scale mode, in the last step I am adding various gradient and blueish layers with overlay effects to give the whole thing the right mood... I love to play around with such effects! <3

Amazing!!!! I LOVE THIS PIC!
I love the R8! I wish SO much that I had the money to get one just for the exclusivity of owning one! (29K was pretty hard on this poor snake) My little Subaru doesn't even compare on the road when it comes to standing out. Off the road, and that's a different story in itself. My WRX STi would totally kick the R8's ass in a rally race unmodified. Rally racing RULES and so does the STi. but I don't get around to doing any real rally circuits very often. I live closer to the city and to get to any decent (meaning distance) offroad sites not monitored by cops, I would have to go out to the Blue Ridge Mountains. That's about an hour and a half of driving on road to get to any mountain roads. but when it snows, I can still drive laps around my neighborhood and piss off everyone else because they're afraid of their massive hulking UGLY SUV's flipping over. HA! RALLY RACING RULES (When you can't have exotic luxury from cars like the R8)
Do you ever see cars of that caliber on the road in Austria? Not strictly R8's, but anything exotic.

Heh, I just saw a dark blue R8 on the street in front of the supermarket I used to buy my food at ;P you do see a lot high end cars on the streets here, lots of Ferraris, Porsches, Lamborghinis.. etc. even if the vehicles are expensive, there seem to live a lot people here who have the moneys.. not including me of course XD The R8 is sold out until winter period 2008, mean even if you want to buy one you have to wait a year to get it... I've been to a lot of local mountain rallyes when I was a lot younger... and the "scene" I grew up with was the european Group B Car Rallye, including one of my all time fave Cars, the Renault 5.. and I even own one ;P
