Tried to read that stuff once, but somehow it was all a melting pot of fighting over ... nothing much. And then fighting some more. Did I miss anything with actual plotlines in later books?

I haven't read past the first set myself, which I enjoyed the simple wild nature of them with 'just the fighting' and various clan relationships. X3 From what I understand, though, later on the cats start gaining "powers" of sorts. The ability to actually speak to Star Clan, and summon rather magical abilities, etc. Eh. XD
