Ok first off shout out to my friend, Wags , for drawing this on such short notice.

Now some people seem to get cofused when i talk about Hope and why she looks the way she does and not either like her Father, danny the dragon, and her mother, Natalia (Me); instead she look like a wolf with raccoon type makings. Now let me explain.

Hope was originally created because i wished for my fursona to have a family hence where danny came from and ultimately, Hope. Now When i had Hope drawn by my friend for the first time i asked for something along the lines of Natalia and danny. However when she was drawn she came out looking more like a wolf with raccoon markings rather than a raccoon/dragon hybrid, so i had to do something about it so things would seem right.

Originally my fursona was 100% raccoon, however since Hope looked like a wolf i had to change something about myself. Now on Natalia's mother's side of the family Natalia has inherieted some recessive and somewhat domant wolf dna, however its faint but you can see the wolf in her from time to time. When Hope was born the 1/8th of wolf that Nat had inside here was transferred ove to Hope. (its like the albino gene. everyone has it. whethe or not that gene is dominate in a person is totally up to fate and genetic. Same applies here). Those recessive genes were dominate during Hope's development hence why Hope has the appearance of a wolf.

However just because Hope looks like a wolf on the outside doesnt mean she didnt inhereit anything else. As body markings go she inhereited Natalia's raccoon type markings. Physically she inhereited her father's dragonic strength making her much stronger for her age. The last thing she inhereited was a small portion of her mother's shapeshifting ability. However this ability only allows her to shift between the 3 dna types that make her up; Wolf, dragon and racoon and feral versions of these.

The picture shows what Hope looks like when she assume one of her 3 forms and the markings. I hope this has clear3ed up some confusion some people have had.
