Name: Jadarice "Jay" Liasica Braithrad

Species: She believes she's a hybrid of a cat, fox, and something else, but honestly has no clue. She has no leads on what her species is or how it relates to her.
Sexual Orientation: Bisexual (Leaning towards girls...kinda obvious with her at times)
Personality:
-Sociable when she's not bent onto a task. When she has a goal in mind, she tends to stick to it and drown out conversation, but when she's not, she's interested in what other people think.
-A bit hardy and tough, she tries to keep up a nice sense of gusto and courage and tackle things head on. She's not afraid to give an extra mountain's worth of work and only runs when she thinks it'd be a waste of time to fight something weak.
-She's easily flustered, normally trying to suppress any perverted remarks she may have and trying to keep it cool. She's a bit of a sucker for cuteness.
-She has quite a sweet tooth and appetite; you'll usually see her wolfing away at food when she gets it.
-Protective of her closest friends; she lets her closest friends call her "Lia".
-She's generally a fun loving girl, looking for thrills and open opportunities to get some rush of excitement.
-She gets a bit down when someone mentions her waistline.
Description: Somewhat of a peach-ish, yellowish fur color. Has fluffy ear tips, with a darker color of fur at the base of the ear. She's almost always wearing her signature black and white box hat. Her hair is normally tied up into a puffy and short ponytail. She has a small choker-necklace with a metal loop on it. Her tail (not shown) is brushy, poofy, and a bit messy. She has a noticeable muffin-top (that she prefers not to be mentioned). Around her waist, she has a belt with a small tool pouch that she kept with her to store some of her money, items, materials, and tools (of course).
Past Life: Jadarice lived in a normal neighborhood outside of nearby city in the world of Mira (an alternate Earth where magic and multiple races are prevalent. It is the definition of fantasy in a modern world), only, her parents faced financial issues that often put their household at stake. To avoid the stress of this monetary situation, Jadarice often spent time on the road or hanging out with her friends. She was doing decently in college, being an art major at a community college. One thing she could have lived without was the criticism from her parents for pursuing such a major, considering the family crisis of money. She sought to have her own studio and live with her friends once they could all move out. Her best friends, Gina Kodea and Estein Handigol were always with her when she went out. They all shared in interest in art and were close friends since their early years in high school, all the way to college. Jadarice did not care for others besides her few close friends, generally being the odd girl out for several reasons. Most girls feared to talk to her, as she was known to be strong enough to beat up most of the sports teams. In her city, it was known that there was a lot of attacks from people in gangs and such, so she took it upon herself to be able to defend herself and her friends. She learned how to work with metal, her father, though not well paid, was known for making amazing metalwares. However, this proved to be something that would work against her. Desperate for money, her father took up to making armor and weapons for a gang in exchange for a large sum of cash. The leader of this gang actually happened to be the father of her best friend, Estein. She was unaware of this until the day she decided to visit a restaurant with her friends, only to be greeted by Estein's father waiting in front of the place. In a desperate plea, Estein begged his father to leave Jadarice be, as she was irresponsible for the mistake her own father made: refusal to help develop a powerful weapon to help the gang take hold of the city. Without a word, a small fight broke out suddenly broke out and caught Jadarice by surprise, and she was easily overpowered by the Mr. Estein. She was killed by several shots of his powerful revolver, after being beaten down to the floor. Before her friends could react to revive her, they were both beaten down heavily, and she was promptly thrown into a truck, carried off and allowing her life to drift away, making it too late to save her.
Struggles: She wants to get back to her friends and protect them, but something that eludes her is the truth behind gang that was contracting her father and ended up killing her. Is her friend as much of a friend as she believes, or are there things that she was turning a blind eye to? She will understand some of these questions and draw conclusions to them that may surprise her.
