The curious question is: Where will her arms be hiding when she wears these in public? Is the other side of the portal inside a securely enclosed closet or something?

Two options are available with the tech, leave the arms suspended in the vector space (ie, not coming out a portal) or place them someplace useful, like at a computer terminal. Obviously shi needs to still do some tweaking as hir elbow is still in vector space in this pic.

Why hide? Well, after my accidental appearance in a Party Hardcore video my uncle wanted my unofficial public appearances to be a little less attached to our company, and I'm kind of the posterkat for our entire Power Armor and LimGraft(R) product lines.

Indeed, but currently LimbGraft(R) is still quite expensive and time consuming. Hir arms took about 5 years to grow after several failed attempts to get them going. Cloning is much simpler than this. These had to be modified to replace ribs, attached to the wrong point of the spine, and have a new shoulder assembly, all while providing new neural points for the brain to use. Shi has started a government managed project for Species Reassignment Surgeries for morphs who feel they don't have the right body. It hasn't yet been approved for humans because human genetics haven't been cleaned up of a lot of the junk that can often lead to cancers and other genetic disorders during the growth process.

Great way to get at that itch that's so hard to reach!
