Lord Mortius of the Iron Suns, bearer of the Technovirus, "The graverobber". His extensively-mutated hulk of a body is only partially the work of the Chaos Gods, the majority of it the culmination of decades of work by Warsmith Shiron, "The Genesmith". While Shiron is the true leader of the Iron Suns and director of all research, Mortius acts as their commander when the soldiers of the Iron Suns set boots to ground, preferring to lead from the front. Stoic, silent, and stubborn, he only gives in when Shiron or Shogun-a Daemon Prince aligned to the Iron Suns-give orders, or when he sees that his might would be of better use elsewhere.
