Wanting to do a doomsday picture. xD and wanting to draw Blue with big wings, since its been forever since I've done so. Sort of led to this!

The opening song from Firefly has always struck me and I found myself inspired this time by the line 'Burn the land and boil the sea, you can't take the sky from me.' Decided to run with the idea and draw Blue rising above flames into the clear sky.

So much symbology going into this, but I won't go into that just yet. xD this is just a WIP, for now. Planning to finish her up properly later, when I'm not so sleepy. Placeholder background, yay!
