This is the accompanying doll to go with the Reba plush. This cute one is for my Mama, of her very much beloved pug. She is always saying she has three daughters, not just me and my sister. As Mimi is her four legged daughter, and a very much beloved part of the family.
It should be obvious but...yes. Mimi is a Pug. We love our pugs, and currently run "Hug a Pug" rescue. We foster and place any pugs that come through our local humane society.
As with Reba, we'd been planning this one for months. And it was becoming a real nail biter, wasn't sure we would make it in time. But thank god the Postman had this on my doorstep just barely in time. (I seriously didn't think I'd make it) but I made it somehow.
Khrests Sculpted the head and feet, I worked my sewing magic on the rest of it. We seem to work quite well together, wouldn't you think Jay? <3
This is my Mama's Christmas gift this year. No, its not for sale. She's safely packed away and ready to be wrapped and put under the Christmas tree for my Mom to unwrap.

Mission accomplished! LOL
Oh really? I'm not really scared of any dog breeds...except mini pins...I was attacked by a pack of five of those while I was walkign my chihuahua. Thank god prissy was wearing her harness, just yank her up by the leash supported by the harness and run for your life @_@, kicking with her in my arms and trying to get home and not need stitches in my legs. Hate those little dogs *shudder*
But I love rotties, pitties, dobermans, any dog breed really. Don't like the whole "Oh those are horrible dogs" just because it's a rot/pit/dobie/ect.

oh exactly! I've worked with a bunch of pugs since and never had any problems. I guess once you have a bad experience it becomes second nature to be more weary of a particular type. Lots of people are afraid of my ferrets too, even though they would never bite anyone. I get comments all of the time about how calm they are. In fact one of them is certified to work with kids and go into schools for educational seminars. There is one this Feb at my school (open house) that will have 5,000+ people and they are always a huge hit.
