The rules are a little complex, and there are non-competitive variations in inexhaustible supply, but usually you take turns with three darts getting down to finishing 501 points. You have to end with a double (The boxes at the edge of the board - the small ones are triple scores - the bull's eye counts as a double of 50 points, with the green ring being worth 25.)
