I love seeing scary stuff like this, and you're right, out there in the "no-man's land" of the Terminus systems, something like this should be expected, if not necessary to ward off would-be attackers. Is this an entirely new character, or a face paint variant for a pre-existing one?

You and ChillChell never fail to amaze, a fantastic design inspired by nature, the yellow facepaint on black, the white markings, your lovely purple eyes, it all fits perfectly together.

If you saw this on a turian out in the terminus, would you assume them to be a criminal?

Well, if I saw one in a bar I wouldn't go up to him and call him a criminal in his face, but I would be wary of him since his markings are quite intimidating. I would try and link his markings to a gang or colony in the Terminus systems so I could get a better idea of the guy, if I can't link him to either a gang or a colony I would just let him be instead of going up to him and risk getting on his bad side, but I would also be intrigued by him.

Nope, it's a wasp spider. Already did my research on it :) You can just type "wasp spider" into google if you're ever curious. Orb weavers are vastly different and share no color traits at all with the wasp spider.
