I really like darker poetry, especailly poems that make overall comparisons like this one :).....just one thing, 3rd stanza, you have a "there" error, I believe it should be "their" ^^

I liked the first verse but other than that it seemed to lack something. Then again poetry is very subjective. It made me think of that part of American McGees Alice where the mice are being turned into clockwork. I think it was with the Mad Hatter.
