AWWww, I'm sorry about your ratties, just got 2 male for my mate and I and we adore them.

I love rats, I have six of them now, but I had eight before Ashes and Ren'ai died. I'm hoping to maybe get another small white one, all of my other rats are big rats. Ashes and Ren'ai were my two small ones.

Yeah, our little boys have got to only be about 2-3 months old. We saved them from the feed rat bin. Remy is my mates, hes a hooded rat and Cynder is my Birkshire rat. I really hope you can find some new buddies and give them lots of love and yogie treats! The heart ache of losing loved pets/family can be hard but its better to have loved and lost than to never have loved at all. Good luck and take care!

I agree. I plan to get another albino rat, but the gray berkshire dumbo rat I had, it's hard to find them anywhere. I pretty much get all of my rats from feed bins. =]

I know a lot of rat lovers say its not good to support the pet shops by buying their rat because they are bred constantly and in horrible conditions.Though, its hard to find a local breeder and I feel horrible that some of these cute, rather pretty breeds end up in the feeder bin. There were about 100 rats all only about 2-3 months old and they were either berkshire or hooded or blazed hooded. I really wish i could of taken more home.

Yeah, it wasn't fun, but at least I know whatever it was that took them out isn't hurting them anymore =]

I'm doing my best to make sure he's happy as he goes. I'd take him to get put down so he doesn't suffer, but I can't afford it.
