Commission for
lionel of his characters Bottlecap, Lemonbite, and Shadoweyes playing a challenging game of Twistaur, with the help of their squirrel friend.
Figuring out the logistics of taurs playing twister nearly broke my brain XD. Due to the extra set of limbs, the gameplay would work a little differently, allowing multiple limbs on one circle, etc. The game spinner is different, too =).
Done with acrylic paints on 11"x14" illustration board.

*Squeals~!* Oh my gosh! I -loved- those!
I used to make little helmets out of the
twist tops for my little-I forget what they're
called-little fuzzy things with the sticky feet
and the googly eyes... Anyways, bonus
points for featuring a Squeeze-it in the
background! *Glee!*

Hee! This one did, at least! =~.^= And yup! We got them with little antenna sometimes, or tiny wings or ears or something; usually they're giving out as promotional gags by a company or something. And they always had the big felt feet with adhesive under them so you could stick them to something! *giggles* I used to have a row of them stuck to the top of the instrument binnacle of the dashboard of one of my cars =~.^=
Heh, my folks typically picked up the "Kool-Aid Bursts," Which are essentially the same thing (And, hell, you can still order them off of Costco's website... http://www2.costco.com/Browse/Produ.....t=11878&Ns=P_Price|1||P_SignDesc1&lang=en-US&Sp=C&topnav=national ) What I liked about those tips was if you get rid of those hemicircle flanges on each side, the bit on top looks kinda like a super-deformed Voyager from Star Trek... Well, if you use your imagination and... well... um... okay, I was bored a lot at lunch recess since they usually closed the library at the elementary school then.
This is like the cutest idea ever! And so very many kudos to you for making this work so amazingly well! I have a couple of taur characters too, and even when I write about them, the most I can think of is putting them in the more generic poses, because it's so darn difficult to come up with good unusual poses that work for these lovely double-bodied, six-limbed creatures =^_^=
At last! I've been hoping for a long time someone would draw a picture of chakats playing Twister, and who better to take it on than Kacey! This is too awesome for words!
(And if it were up to me to come up with rules for the taur version of the game, I would have added two more colors.)

The amount of adorable in this is just to much for anyone ^\_/^ as many before me had way to much cuteness for them to handle! Also the idea of Twistaur, is just, to awesome, and the facial expressions and body language is while playing twister, believe you that it was no small undertaking.
The panting is just, amazing, as always, just beautiful. <3

I just noticed (and this sounds dumb) just how detailed you are with acrylic (they are really such a beautiful medium), but what caught my eye a second time was the transparency on that Squeeze-it bottle (Oh wolf nostalgia!), how you make transparency with acrylic paints I will never know, but it is pretty dam amazing ^^
Awesome concept, looks like a real mess. Any other art of the yellow one? She's beyond adorable.
The fuzzy ball critters are used here (Seattle area) as promotional toys. Last ones I saw were given out by some shady check-cashing place. Before that there were "Weepuls" (for "we pull together") given out by BCTI, Bellevue Computer Training Institute, a school that closed suddenly and vanished, leaving hundreds of students SOL. BCTI also gave out some really huge ones, like 5" or so, which I think had pipe cleaners for antennae.
