I've had a pretty busy year myself. I got my own apartment and I'll start my last semester of college this spring. I've still got all my chickens and turkeys and I hang out with them a lot.

I'm shooting to major in animation actually, been set on that for a bit. Lets just see how well I'll adjust to no sleep for the rest of my life XDDDD

Apartment life is great. The building is nice and quiet (although there was one time where someone hung a pair of men's underwear from the fire alarm and left them there for a month). My chickies unfortunately can't stay at my apartment, but I have a really good friend who lets me keep them at his place. I go to see them every other day.

Hmmmm you know I havent really singled any specifics. Quite frankly I'm not totally picky so my headset at the moment is like hell I'd be fine with any company-that im pretty okay with xD-and I'll chill with them for a bit. What have you been going for?

I can totally understand that. You look for whichever company seems like a good fit and keep your options open. I'm going in for a Liberal Studies degree, so yeah, I'm pretty familiar with that kinda mindset XD

The thing with the underwear was so weird just because I live in a really quiet building. I never hear any partying or stuff like that, so I just sorta did a double take when I first saw 'em.

You should get a chicken. My chickies love being held and cuddled and squeezed. And you gotta admit, there's no reason for a chicken like this

...............is...that...a...silkie!? My country mom had one of those but god I loved that chickie so much. He would pretend to be a dog but when he noticed people actually noticing him he would revert back to being a chickie and nonchalantly peck at the ground XD

Well, it's a normal sort of quiet, so there's occasionally car noises outside, but no big parties or stuff like that. It's the good kind of quiet.

Yep! That's a silkie! They really are one of the greatest chicken breeds. The one your mom had sounds adorable. Silkies in general seem to like being treated more like pets than like barnyard animals. I used to have a white Silkie, Powderpuff, who loved the blow dryer after a bath. (She loved the dirt, that one) She'd just curl up on the towel and start purring when I dried her feathers.

Silkies really do make great house pets. You should get one ;)
