Honestly, as much as color would be nice, I like it perfectly as it is. The lone pencil shading really does the scene justice.

I really like this piece, the pencil work is amazing. May I ask which pencil did you use? My guess is an HB mechanical pencil.
The texture in the riverside, it has an exact balance between detail and synthesis.
And the character, her body is gorgeous, with detail where it´s needed and beign almost a lineart where it´s not. Her expression is what caught me the most, I keep looking at her eyes and noticing some sadness along the calm sight.
